A data point is an RJ45 Ethernet outlet connected through fixed cabling to a router, switch or patch panel. A TV outlet usually carries an antenna signal over coaxial cable; a phone outlet serves a different connection. Jade checks the existing cable and terminations before recommending reuse or a new Cat6 run.

Often, where the wall construction, roof space and access allow. Double-storey floors, insulation, brickwork and inaccessible cavities can affect the route. Jade assesses the property before confirming the installation plan.
Any visible conduit, additional access, drilling and responsibility for patching or painting are explained before work begins. Outlet positions and the finish are agreed with you first.

Will Cat6 fix slow internet or weak Wi-Fi?
Cat6 provides a wired local path to a compatible device and avoids relying on Wi-Fi at that outlet. Actual speed and responsiveness also depend on your internet plan, router or switch ports, connected devices and service conditions.
For wireless coverage, a suitably placed access point or compatible mesh system with wired backhaul may help. Jade can check whether the issue is local cabling, Wi-Fi coverage or something to raise with your internet provider.

Jade personally carries out your installation. Registered cabler T47446, with $20 million public liability insurance. Fixed customer cabling is terminated and checked, with the applicable cabling advice provided on completion.
Cabling workmanship has a two-year warranty. Parts carry the relevant manufacturer’s warranty. The scope, cover and any equipment-specific terms are confirmed for your job and recorded on the invoice.

Yes. Within 40 km driving distance of Berwick, your inspection and quote are free even if you decline the work. You can call with a question before arranging a visit.
Like-for-like price matching is assessed against a local licensed and insured business’s written, itemised quote dated within 14 days, with a valid ABN and contact details. Cable specifications, hardware, access and warranty must match.
