Starlink Installation

Your Starlink equipment and internet subscription are arranged separately from Jade’s independent installation service. Tell Jade which kit you have, or send a photo of the box. The model, cable, router and suitable mounting hardware are checked when planning the job. If you have not bought your kit yet, you can still call for installation advice.

Yes, where roof condition and safe access allow. Jade matches the fixing method and mount to the roof and kit, and assesses double-storey access individually. The proposed position is checked for obstructions using the Starlink app. Trees, neighbouring buildings and rooflines can affect the sky view; a convenient fixing point is not always a suitable dish location.

Internal routing depends on the roof space, wall construction and access. Jade agrees the route and any visible cable or conduit before work begins. Router placement is discussed as part of setup. Long houses, brick walls, sheds or multiple floors may need optional mesh Wi-Fi, access points or data cabling; these are assessed and quoted separately.

Jade installs and tests the local hardware, cabling and router setup. Internet speed and availability also depend on Starlink’s service, network conditions, obstructions and weather, so a roof installation does not come with a fixed-speed or uninterrupted-service guarantee. Any Wi-Fi limitations found during the agreed checks are explained at handover.
